Our combined Mission and Vision Statement is central in all that we do as a school and this includes ensuring our Admissions is followed as outlined below.

The Board of Governors, who are responsible for admissions to this Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School admit 60 children into reception each September.

Prospective parents should contact the school office to obtain the application procedures and timetable before making an application for a place at the school.

Parents of applicants are welcome to visit the School by prior arrangement during the year before admission. The meetings take place on a Monday. The dates are listed below. Please contact the school to book a place.

In Year Admissions 2020-2021

COVID19 Church Attendance Statement: “ In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these [admissions] arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship”.

Prospective Parent Meetings for joining St Michael’s School in Reception (September 2021 intake)

When: Monday mornings by appointment only.  If your child is due to start school in September 2021 you can phone to book an appointment to tour the school.  Please contact the school to book a place at one of these meetings.

Time: 9.30am talk with the Headteacher (Ann-Marie Grant) followed by a tour of the school by one of our Pupil Ambassadors.

In light of COVID19 we have to follow Government guidance and there will be a virtual meeting with the Headteacher.  The following virtual Monday morning tours are available by appointment:

  • 7th December 2020
  • 11th January 2021

Deferred Entry
