Striving to be the best!

Welcome to St. Michael’s CE School…A Message from the Headteacher….

On behalf of the Staff, Governors, children and parents, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your family to our school. We are delighted that you have chosen to transfer your child to our school. We hope that your child’s educational journey will be one of enjoyment during the remaining years of their primary education.

You as the parent have a vital role to play in your child’s education and so we begin your association with our school by extending the hand of partnership to you and look forward to working with you to fulfil our school motto:

“Working together for the good of all”

As you begin this new educational journey at St Michael’s CE School we feel it is important that you have all the information that will give you an overview of what you can expect your child to learn.

Transition from one primary school to another can be daunting for both the child and the parent, we at St Michael’s want to make this as smooth as possible for you. To this end the information outlined in this section of the website will enable you to gain an overview of your new school as well as learn all about the procedures we have in place to ensure their academic, social and pastoral development from now until your child leaves.

The information links below are an important source for all new parents whose children transfer ‘in year’ to St Michael’s School.

With best wishes,

Ann-Marie Grant – Headteacher
