We ask that prospective parents note that the Board of Governors are responsible for admissions to our Church of England Voluntary Aided Nursery and this is outlined in the policy below.
Prospective parents should fill out the online google application form (button at top of the page) which will go to the Admissions Officer in the school office, please send in you Church Supplementary Form if applicable. Paper copies of these forms are available from the school office.
For our September 2026 start date, we will first be accepting children who turned 3 before the 31st August 2026. (Born before August 31st 2023).
It is important to note that transition into the main school from St. Michael's Nursery is not automatic and you have to re-apply under the Reception intake regulations by submitting an application to the Local Authority online admissions department .
We will be starting our Prospective Parent Tours for Nursery 2026 from this November. We politely request that only adults attend the meeting and that you find childcare for your little one (babies in arms are welcome)

Please note: There is no automatic right to join the main school once the time at St. Michael's Nursery ends. Parents must apply for a place in the main school by following the schools Admissions procedures on the Reception Admissions Tab.

All children are entitled to 15 hours per week funded nursery provision from the first term after the child’s 3rd birthday and we can offer to children who are three and four years places from this time, subject to availability.
If you work and your child is three or four years old, you may now be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare a week.

Top-up fees per week for the 2024 entry group is currently set at £145 per week.
15 hours and 30 hours from Government funding does not include lunch. This will will be at a cost of £2.85 per day.
Blue Class – full time
Monday – Friday: 8:50 – 15:00
Orange Class – 2.5 days
Monday and Tuesday: 08:50 – 15:00
Wednesday morning: 08:50 – 11:30
Yellow Class – 2.5 days
Wednesday afternoon: 12.30 – 15:00
Thursday and Friday: 08:50 – 15:00
