The Staff, Governors, children and parents, would like to welcome you and your family to St Michael's Nursery. We are delighted that you have chosen our school as the foundation stone for your child’s educational journey and trust will be one of enjoyment and learning for your child and one that they will look fondly back upon in years to come as well as one of partnership with you.
You as the parent, have a vital role to play in your child’s education and so we begin our association with you by extending the hand of partnership to you and look forward to working with you to fulfil our school Mission, Vision and Motto.
The information links are an important source for all new parents to view and digest. It may seem a daunting task to have to do this, but it is VITAL that you as the parent do have an overview and an understanding of what is expected.
Here is a step by step guide on what to do by when as you prepare your child to join St Michael's Nursery. We ask that you follow each step to ease enrolment. Please take time to familiarise yourself with the information and complete the all important forms by the deadlines given in the letters. STEP 3: Funding/Financial
In order for us to process your funding correctly please complete the form below. Please note if your child is in Blue Class (Full Time Placement) and you are not eligible for the 30 hour code, you will need to pay the top up fees of £160.00 per week. This will be invoiced to you termly.
The children can have a school lunch on site in the main hall. Alternatively you can provide a packed lunch for them. You will have been asked for your lunch preference on the enrolment form.We understand that some families may wish to change their child’s lunch arrangements - alternating between school lunches and packed lunches, on a termly basis. To help us ensure that all children receive their preferred meal and that our administrative processes remain accurate, we require you to notify the school office in writing before the start of each term if you wish to make a change.
School Lunches are a set price of £3.20 per day. These will be payable on Arbor.
Children under 5 are entitled to free school milk but you will still need to register in order for your child to receive it.
We welcome parents coming into help in school and also at school events. However, in order to do this parents MUST have a 'Disclosure Barring Service' (DBS) clearance. If you would like to help in school or help at PTA events, please complete the form below and follow the instructions for getting a DBS.
