Reception Admissions

The Board of Governors, who are responsible for admissions to this Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School admit 60 children into reception each September.

Parents of applicants are welcome to visit the School by prior arrangement during the year before admission. The meetings take place on a Thursday. Please contact the school to book a place.

It is important to note that transition into the main school from Mini St. Mikes is not automatic and you do have to re-apply under normal Reception intake regulations by submitting an online application to the Local Authority. 

We will be starting our Prospective Parent Tours for Reception 2025 from this September. These will start at 9.45am with a tour around school followed by a talk with Mrs Harris the Headteacher. To book a tour please telephone or email the office. We politely request that only adults attend the meeting and that you find childcare for your little one (babies in arms are welcome) .

Please note: For Reception intake 2025 the closing date for all applications is 15th January 2025  All supplementary Church forms must be in to the school by this date.

When parents are applying for a place in  our reception class we strongly advise parents to also refer to the Local Authority website which provides a step by step process for the online application. The Local Authority 'Choose a Wandsworth Primary School' booklet is also published here and it is imperative that parents note the information entitled 'Applying for places - step by step'. Parents should note 'Step 4: Completing the application form' paying particular note to addresses uses. There is  also information relating to the national offer day in April.  Please note the closing date for all applications for 2025 entry is January 15th 2025

Please note: If a child with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) is placed in the school by the Local Authority before the normal admissions round, the number of places available to other applicants will be reduced.
