St Michael's Reading Challenge
St Michael's Reading Challenge
To further develop our children's exposure to authors, genres and texts the English faculty have created year group reading challenges. These are designed to give children structured guidance for what is most appropriate for their age and ability.
The children are to work through the challanges at a steady pace - we would recommend one or two per week. As they complete a challenge on their grid, they should tick them off and date them, along with writing a short summary/review into their reading record/diary for their teachers acknowledgment.
