Our improvement priorities are designed to ensure our children flourish academically, personally, and spiritually.

Our Strategic Development Plan 2024-2028

Our four-year Strategic Development Plan was created using the previous Ofsted framework and is structured around the following key areas:

• Quality of Teaching (including Assessment and Outcomes)

• Personal Development

• Behaviour and Attitudes

• Leadership and Management

This plan sets out our long-term strategic direction and outlines the key milestones we aim to achieve each year - Strategic Plan 2024-2028 .

Our School Development Plan 2026–2027

Each year, we review our strengths, evaluate where we can improve further and identify the priorities that will make the greatest difference to our children. Our School Development Plan (SDP) sets out these priorities and the actions we will take during the year.

For 2026–2027, our key priorities are:

• Leadership, Accountability and Professional Culture

Strengthening leadership at all levels so that there is clear accountability, effective monitoring and evaluation, and a strong culture of professional learning and continuous improvement.

• High-Quality Teaching for Every Learner

Ensuring consistently strong teaching across the school, with a particular focus on adaptive teaching, formative assessment and responsive feedback so that all pupils, including those with SEND and those who are disadvantaged, can succeed.

• Writing and Curriculum

Further improving outcomes in writing, particularly for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and boys, while continuing to develop a rich, ambitious and engaging curriculum.

• Inclusion

Strengthening inclusive classroom practice and ensuring that pupils’ needs are identified precisely and met effectively, with high expectations for every learner.

• Curriculum Implementation

Embedding our enquiry-led curriculum so that children develop independence, curiosity and the ability to think deeply about their learning.

• Behaviour and Attitudes

Continuing to build a calm, respectful and inclusive school culture in which children understand our expectations, develop positive learning behaviours and feel safe, valued and ready to learn.

These priorities are underpinned by our commitment to safeguarding, personal development and strong foundations in the Early Years.

Our School Development Plan helps us turn our Christian vision of Love – Serve – Grow and our commitment to “Working together for the Good of All” into purposeful action, ensuring that every child is known, supported, challenged and given the opportunity to flourish.
