“St. Michael’s Church of England School, established upon Christian foundations, and living out the Christian faith, is committed to providing every child with an excellent education.”
We promote our Vision through the key words:
‘Create – Equip – Partner’
Toolbox is St Michael’s Church kids church for primary school aged children (5-11 years old).
We meet in St Michael’s School Hall and surrounding open spaces. St Michael’s School is just down Granville Road from St Michael’s Church, although the entrance that we use is via the school car park gate on Viewfield Road.
Our service starts at 10.15am which allows parents to register their children at the school and be at church for a 10.30am start.

Here’s are some pupil voice quotes about Toolbox
“I love having Toolbox at school because we have our own space to worship.”
“Being able to have Toolbox at school means we can have more fun and be more noisy.”
“I like the fact that because we are at school, it feels like it is our church, and not for grown ups!”
“It’s so great to have a time and space to meet with all your friends and think about God. It means we can spend time with God without loads of distractions.”
“I love Toolbox at the school because Robbie makes it fun with games and songs, but also does loads of bits about God.”
“It’s great to have so much space because when we split into our different groups we can have space to do different activities.”
- The children spend the first part of the session playing games, worshipping God and listening to a short talk before spending time in their small groups learning more about that week’s story and how they can apply that in their own lives.
- At the end of the morning, all the groups come back together for a brilliant time of praying and listening to what God has to say before heading back over to church in time for the end of the service.
- Toolbox is a fantastic place for your child to come and learn more about who Jesus is and why He is so important. To find out more information, please don’t hesitate to contact Robbie, or come along to the school on a Sunday morning at 10:15am – We would love to see you there!
